Questions from accounting practices

Is this free for my practice?

The client workbooks download free. Free for individuals for filing your own MTD Income Tax quarterly updates. Practice pricing for filing on behalf of clients is on the pricing page - this download does not change those terms.

Is this MTD software for accountants?

This page is the client Excel piece of an MTD practice toolkit: branded sole trader and landlord bookkeeping spreadsheets. Quarterly filing happens in aligned.tax Control Centre - upload the returned XLSX, map, review and submit. See MTD for accountants for the full workflow.

Do clients need to leave Excel?

No. That is the point. They keep books in the branded spreadsheet. You get the completed file back and upload it when you file their quarterly update.

Where is my logo stored?

It is not. Branding runs in your browser. Your logo is not uploaded to our servers in this version.

Will branding break the formulas?

No. We update the Welcome sheet (practice name, colours, logo, return instructions) and recolour matching brand blues elsewhere. Transaction and summary formulas stay untouched.
