For Accountants

Your Workspace

What this is

The Workspace is your home screen as an accountant. It provides a multi-client overview so you can see the status of your entire practice at a glance - which clients are authorised, who has upcoming deadlines, and what activity has happened recently.

What you see on screen

When you log in as an agent, you land on the Workspace at /app/workspace. The page shows:

  • Client overview - a summary of all your clients with their current status
  • Authorisation status - see which clients are authorised, pending, or need attention
  • Upcoming deadlines - obligation due dates across your client base
  • Recent activity - the latest uploads and submissions for your practice

How to use the workspace

Click on any client in the overview to go to their detail page. From there you can upload data, check obligations, or manage their authorisation.

Quick actions

From the workspace you can:

  • Upload for a client - go to Upload Quarterly Data in the sidebar, then select the client you want to file for
  • View obligations - check Quarterly Statuses to see which quarters are due across all your clients
  • Check submission history - go to Past Submissions to review what has been filed

Monitor your practice

The workspace shows an aggregated view across all your clients, making it easy to:

  • Spot clients who still need authorisation
  • Identify upcoming deadlines before they become overdue
  • Track recent filing activity

Things to know

  • The workspace shows your entire client base. Unlike the individual dashboard which shows one person’s data, the workspace aggregates across all clients in your practice.
  • The sidebar always shows your full navigation. Use it to jump to any section - Income Sources, Quarterly Statuses, Upload, Past Submissions, or Settings.
  • The tax year selector in the header controls which tax year’s data you see. Make sure it is set correctly when reviewing obligations or submissions.
